When looking for a Mitzvah project to
undertake, many people choose to focus on Shmiras HaLashon.
Nowadays, there is a wealth of books available
on the subject in English and Hebrew and for both adults and children.
One of the best ways to improve our Shmiras
Halashon is through a Machsom L'fi program. The purpose of the
program is to set aside a certain amount of time each day -
generally an hour - to be particularly vigilant in avoiding Lashon
Harah.
Remember, our goal is to be successful at
Shmiras HaLashon so each person must be realistic about how much
time to devote to this or any undertaking.
